Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason will miss the rest of the season with a torn left Achilles tendon. The team announced on Monday the results of an MRI exam that revealed the tear Beason sustained in a 28-21 loss at Arizona in the season opener Sunday. He was carted off the field in the second half.
