Baseball management, players and umpires will have another summit on the state of umpiring on Dec. 3, just ahead of the start of the winter meetings. The meeting was called at the request of the players' association and will be held in the Orlando, Fla., area, two people familiar with its scheduling said, speaking on condition of anonymity because no announcement was made.
